If it weren't for bad luck...
Going into this afternoon's finale at Road Atlanta, my man Trent Hindman holds a five-point lead over the Camaro duo of Andrew Davis and Robin Liddell. Thanks to the timing of an incident during qualifying, neither Hindman nor his teammate, my other man John Edwards were able to put in a representative lap time and will start 18th in the GS field. Meanwhile, Liddell and Davis got the timing right and will start this afternoon's race from the pole in their Z-28. The weather is looking iffy for the start of the race.
One way or the other this is going to be epic.
